Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose us?

We view your tax return as a roadmap to better financial health, not just a collection of forms. Unlike firms that only record what you give them, our team takes a strategy-first approach: we assess your unique situation, identify eligible credits, deductions, and tax-planning opportunities you may qualify for. We then create a proactive plan to help you maximize the tax benefits permitted under Canadian law. With 10+ years’ experience and bilingual service in Vancouver, we also provide Notice of Assessment review and CRA correspondence support to give you ongoing peace of mind.

Why do prices vary?

Pricing depends on complexity. Extra slips, rental income or business income require additional schedules.

What documents do you need?

Typically: all T-slips from the tax year (T4/T4A/T5/T2202 etc.), SIN, Address, RRSP receipts, tuition slips, and any receipts for deductions (medical, childcare, business expenses). Specific lists are provided per package.

How long will it take?

Files are normally prepared within 3–7 business days after receiving all documents; rush service available for an additional fee.

Do you help with CRA reviews?

Yes. CRA correspondence support is available as add‑ons.

Do you file previous years?

Yes, we can prepare and file prior-year returns. Fees for prior years are quoted case-by-case depending on complexity and documentation.

Do you work with newcomers and foreign income?

Absolutely. We regularly help newcomers file their Canadian tax returns, including reporting foreign income. Please note that foreign income can increase the complexity of your return and may affect pricing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Interac e-Transfer, cheque, or cash. Payment is required when the service agreement is signed.
